Did you know that God knows everything that we did, both in the secret and in the open? Are you also aware that He’s aware of the things that we plan to do in the future, including the good, the bad, and the ugly?
Yes, he does! This explains why He’s called the ‘Omniscient’, ‘knowing everything.’
Even with this great and unlimited power of God in knowing everything, He still loves to ask us questions concerning the things we do. A good example is the case of Jesus and Blind Bartimaeus.
Jesus knew that Bartimaeus was blind, yet He asked him: “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus did that with a view to getting the blind man’s confirmation of his desire to see. – Mark 10: 46-52
The same thing would happen to us when we finally depart this world to be with God in heaven. God, as I earlier pointed out above, knows everything about us, more than we do, yet he’d ask us questions on them.
Below are the five (5) questions He’ll ask us concerning our relationships, love and sex activities with our girlfriend and boyfriend.
1. Did You Have A Girlfriend Or Boyfriend?
God will want to know whether we had a girlfriend or a boyfriend. Don’t tell me whether you did or do. Just search yourself and keep your reply for God.
Why would God ask us this question? Because He never expects us to be in such a relationship until we get married.
Don’t even think about lying about this fact. If you do, you’d be compounding your case, because as I earlier pointed out above, He already knows about it, including the number of girlfriends or boyfriends that you had, have or will even have.
2. Did You Ever Sleep And Make Love With Your Girlfriend Or Boyfriend?
By the time we get to heaven, many of us would have had nothing less than five (5) girlfriends or boyfriends.
If you multiply this number with the number of times, we had sex together with our girlfriends and boyfriends, you’ll arrive at a frightening and alarming figure that would cause your mouth to go ajar like that of an angry Yoruba.
God will like to have such statistics. So, keep them handy with you as you embark on your journey to meet with Him.
3. Did You Procure An Abortion With Your Girlfriend Or Boyfriend?
Procuring abortion with our girlfriend or boyfriend has become a norm with most of us. Whenever we sleep and make love with our girlfriend or boyfriend and it results to pregnancy, the next thing we normally do is to get rid of such pregnancy via abortion.
Are you free of this allegation? Don’t give me your answer, yet. Keep it for God until that very D-day, more so when He warns us against murder, which abortion is synonymous with. – Exodus 20:13
4. Did You Promise Your Girlfriend Or Boyfriend Marriage?
Some of us are fond of promising any girl or boy that we like marriage, probably to win her/his love by all means. We usually do this even when we sometimes know that we’d not keep such a fake promise.
Have you ever done this? Did you ever raise the hopes of your girlfriend or boyfriend but later dashed it on a rock? Ask yourself this question and keep the answer for God.
Do you know why God would be interested in this question? Because He hates, with passion, the attitude of promising and failing. It is better we don’t make a promise than to make one and fail to keep it. – Ecclesiastes 5:4
In other words, God expects us to fulfill any promise that we make.
5. Did You In any Way Cause The Death Of Your Girlfriend Or Boyfriend?
If you’re a news freak like me, you’d have discovered that the cases of boys and girls, men and women who kill or cause the death of their lovers, in one way or the other, is on the increase.
There’s hardly any day that passes without such frightening and worrisome news being published or broadcast on local and international print and electronic media, respectively.
Are you not aware of this global phenomenon? God hates it because He warns us against murder. – Exodus 20:13
I, the writer of this article, was guilty of some of these questions. For me to be on the safer side, I had to engage the services of Jesus, the best Advocate that the world has ever produced, so that He can plead on my behalf for God to forgive me all that I have done wrong. 1 John 2:1
And hopefully, He has promised to do just that for me, provided I’d not go back to my evil ways.
This same opportunity is available to you, my dear. You need to make use of it before it is too late.
If you’re guilty of any of these questions, the way I was, there’s only way out of the dire consequences of those unnecessary entanglements of yours. That only way is J-E-S-U-S!
So, go to Him now for help. Tell Him how you have come short of His glory and let Him know that you’re sorry about the whole thing. After He must have accepted your plea to help you, promise Him that you’d not to go back to those evil ways of yours.
Congratulations in advance, because I know you’ll do it and we’ll be together in heaven with God.
Cheers!
