It is not common or easy in Nigeria, as it is in other countries, to see or identify women who date younger men. This is because most women in Nigeria feel shy or ashamed being seen dating younger men.
What is common in Nigeria are girls or young women dating men who are far older than them or old enough to be their fathers. This is because most modern young girls in Nigeria are not ashamed being seen or being identified with older men, provided they get what they want; cash.
I never thought I would ever date older women until I found myself in the game. How did it start? I’ll tell you.
My love for dating older women started in 2015, after my graduation from the university, where I studied Economics and Statistics. I was introduced or lured into it by a female secondary school teacher who lived in my father’s compound.
I was attracted to the thirty-something-year-old woman when she discovered that I was good at Economics, Mathematics and Statistics. I loved her in return because she was damn pretty, elegant, succulent and tantalizing.
With that relationship, I started visiting her apartment and started helping her to mark her students’ Mathematics and Economics homework and examination scripts. She sometimes requested me to help her set her examination questions.
From helping her to mark question papers and to set examinations questions, we crossed over to the other side and started sleeping and making love together. We did that both in her apartment and at hotels, with her footing the bills.
My parents, at a point, discovered the relationship between us and wanted to make trouble with her, but I warned them sternly not to do so. They were annoyed that their 24-year-old son was dating a 36-year-old woman, but never knew she was relieving them by taking care of me and nourishing me, at least, sexually.
The sweet woman and I dated for more than three years before she married and was transferred away from my state to the state where her husband lived. Even after we were separated, I still was in touch with her, but we could no longer sleep together as before.
My teacher-lover was replaced with a forty-something-year-old single mother of two. We met at a wedding ceremony in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, Nigeria, late 2018.
After our normal love discussion, we exchanged phone numbers and promised to be calling each other. About two weeks later, she invited me back to Owerri, now to her residence, where she treated me to sumptuous indigenous meals, including the popular Ofe Owerri.
That was the day we consummated our love. She shocked me while we were in bed with the question: “Would you like me to have a baby from you, even though it would not bear your name?” I accepted her offer with that condition, and granted her request with a baby-boy.
While I was dating the Owerri woman, I was also dating two other older women in Warri, Delta State; and in Onitsha, Anambra State. All with no regrets whatsoever!
